Race teams and clubs
You need a season kit or club apparel with names, numbers and sponsor logos, and you need it before the first round. Start with the roster and your sponsor list.
Team race kit customizationRun Moto Apparel is a custom motorcycle apparel manufacturer for people who order for a group, not for themselves: sublimated custom motocross jerseys and pants, custom kart suits and leather race suits, textile and leather motorcycle jackets, riding gloves and club apparel.
Six lines cover the gear a team or brand actually orders from a custom motorcycle apparel manufacturer. Enough spec here to judge fit; each line has its own page. What we make is here; how we make it, and where we stop, is in the next section.
140–160 gsm moisture-wicking polyester mesh jerseys with all-over sublimation; pants in 600D polyester with leather or synthetic-leather inner-knee panels and 4-way stretch at crotch and yoke. Ordered together so the colorway matches across both.
Two-layer custom kart suits with stretch panels; made-to-measure leather custom race suits in 1.1–1.3 mm cowhide with CE-armor-ready pockets; fire-retardant suits for car and kart programs.
Textile jackets in 600D polyester or Cordura-type nylon with removable thermal liner and CE-armor pockets; leather jackets with optional perforation; ADV and touring jackets with waterproof membrane and vents.
Goat-leather or synthetic-palm gloves with knuckle-protector pockets and optional touchscreen fingertips, colour-matched to the kit.
Sublimated club jerseys, 280–320 gsm fleece hoodies, vests, tees and pit-crew polos in one team colorway, packed by member or by size.
Women's motocross gear on women's blocks, youth gear graded for growing riders, ATV/UTV racing jerseys, summer mesh jackets and waterproof riding gear. Each has its own fit and fabric logic.
Which step is ours, which step is yours, and what we will not pretend to do

Each group needs a different thing from a custom motorcycle apparel manufacturer, so each starts with a different document: a roster, a tech pack, a size mix, or a usage pattern.
You need a season kit or club apparel with names, numbers and sponsor logos, and you need it before the first round. Start with the roster and your sponsor list.
Team race kit customizationYou need OEM or private-label development from a tech pack or a reference garment, with sample rounds you can sign off. Start with your tech pack or the garment you want to improve.
OEM/ODM development processYou need own-label jackets, jerseys and gloves in size runs, without holding a season of stock. Start with your size mix and colorways.
Bulk production for dealersYou need instructor gear and rental suits that survive daily use and can be reordered in the same color two years later. Start with your usage pattern and washing routine.
Kart suits and academy gearColor drift on reorders is the complaint we hear most from teams that switch to us
What you get: a color-strip reference on file under your team name, and a print approval photo before bulk starts. Hold the first-season jersey against the third-season jersey and see no difference.
Printed flat, cut after. Seams follow the design instead of interrupting it.
A short test before you spend time on a quote

You send artwork, a roster or a tech pack; we return patterns, samples and batches that match each other.
Riders in those cases should go to a retailer. Saying this early saves both of us a week of email.
Send the quantity and what it is for. If it is a group order we answer with a feasibility check; if it is not, we say so and point you to a retailer.
A jersey that fits standing up can bind at the shoulder on the bike
Our motocross blocks start from a rider leaning forward with elbows up, not a mannequin standing straight. That changes three things:
Size grading runs from XS to 4XL for adults, with youth sizes for motocross and kart suits. For teams, we send a size-run set before bulk so each rider tries the real garment rather than reading a chart.
Back longer than front to stay tucked in a crouch; sleeve pitched forward so the shoulder does not pull with elbows up; 4-way stretch gusset under the arm so the body does not ride up.
Knee pre-shaped for a bent leg; inner-knee panels take grip and heat from the bike; stretch yoke so the waistband does not gap when standing on the pegs.
CE-armor pockets placed where shoulder, elbow and back sit on the bike, not on a hanger; stretch panels at inner arm and back for the reach to the bars.
Twenty to one hundred sets that arrive before round one and still match at round twelve
Two things matter: the kit has to arrive before the first race, and rider number 14 has to look exactly like rider number 7. We schedule from your race calendar backwards, confirm the sponsor layout once for the whole team, and build the size sheet from the roster so nothing is left to guesswork. Mid-season additions are printed from the same saved color profile.
| Rider | No. | Jersey | Pant W/L | Glove | Note |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Rider A | 7 | M | 32 / 32 | L | — |
| Rider B | 14 | L | 34 / 32 | L | Between sizes → L (race fit) |
| Rider C | 22 | S | 30 / 30 | M | — |
| Rider D | 31 | Youth L | Y28 / Y26 | Youth M | Youth grading applied |
| Rider E | 45 | XL | 36 / 34 | XL | — |
| Manager | — | L | — | — | Pit polo only |

Most kit problems are size-sheet problems, not sewing problems
We ask for one line per rider: name, number, jersey size, pant waist and inseam, glove size. Between sizes, we flag it and recommend based on the jersey's intended fit. Youth and adult riders in one order are split so youth grading is applied rather than shrinking the adult pattern.
Before bulk, you sign the sheet with our production sizes filled in and any substitutions marked. It travels with the order through cutting, sewing and packing, and each finished garment is packed by rider name so the team manager does not sort a box of forty jerseys at the track.
Three decoration methods, chosen by where the logo sits and how the garment is washed
Names, numbers and sponsor logos are part of the print itself: no stitching, no peeling. A sponsor swap for next season is a layout edit.
Club or centre logo embroidered at a stitch density that survives daily machine washing, with a backing that keeps the logo flat on stretch fabric.
Fine sponsor lettering that embroidery would thicken goes on by heat transfer; badges that must last years are embroidered. Each team's logo files are cleaned once and archived with the pattern set.
Brands need repeatable fit across SKUs, not just one good sample
A riding-gear brand fails differently from a team. The risk is not one late kit; it is a jacket in size L that fits differently from the jersey in size L, or a second run that does not match the first. Our private label motorcycle apparel path starts with reading your tech pack or measuring your reference garment, building a base block that all your SKUs share, and sampling in your core size before grading. Start with 2–5 SKUs at 50 pieces per style, then scale on the same blocks.
The OEM/ODM development process
One sales manager owns your order from the first message to the 7-day post-delivery window.
Final inspection finds problems; mid-line inspection prevents them

The first finished piece of each style and size is measured against the signed size sheet and compared to the approved sample for color and print position. Bulk sewing does not start until this piece is accepted.

Every garment is checked for finishing, labels and packing by rider or by size, and a photo set is taken of the packed order. You receive that photo set before the shipment leaves.

Once the first 20 percent of a batch is sewn, an inspector pulls pieces across sizes and checks the four places that go wrong on riding gear:
A failure at any point stops the line for that style; the cause is fixed before sewing resumes, and the pieces already sewn are re-checked rather than let through.
That is why a custom motocross jersey, pants, gloves and pit-crew polos can leave in one colorway from one order

Sublimation printing and heat calendering; color profiles filed per team.

Textile jerseys, pants, jackets and club apparel; fabric lots recorded per order.

Race suits, jackets and gloves in 1.1–1.3 mm cowhide with armor pockets.

Embroidery and heat transfer alongside the print room, so one order gets all three.

Reorders fail when a custom motorcycle apparel manufacturer keeps only the invoice
For every customer we keep three things:
When a club adds twelve new members two years later, the new jerseys are printed against the archived strip, cut from the same pattern set, and sewn from fabric checked against the recorded weight. Sublimated repeat orders ship in 15 days because nothing has to be developed again.
If a fabric is discontinued, we tell you before the reorder is confirmed, send a swatch of the replacement, and re-strip the color profile on the new fabric so the difference is measured, not discovered at the track.
Sample, bulk and repeat times are set at quote and written on the order. Give us your first race date or launch date and we schedule backwards from it.
| Product type | Sample | Bulk after sample approval | Repeat order |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sublimated jerseys, pants, club apparel | 7–10 days | 25–35 days | 15 days from archived files |
| Leather race suits, kart suits, fire-retardant suits | 15–20 days | 25–35 days | Quoted per order; patterns archived |
| Textile and leather jackets, gloves | 15–20 days | 25–35 days | Quoted per order; blocks archived |
| Shipping | Express, air or sea; DDP available on request | ||

Each step with what you send, what you get back, how long it takes and who owns it

Every reorder prints against the archived strip, not against memory.
Each row is something you can ask any custom motorcycle apparel manufacturer for on the sample and the size sheet before you commit to bulk
| Ask for | General sportswear factory | Retail gear brand, bought in bulk | Run Moto Apparel |
|---|---|---|---|
| A motocross pant with leather inner-knee panels | Cut on cycling or football blocks; knee reinforcement rarely made before. The first one will be yours. | Proven product, but the design and fabric are theirs, not yours. | Motocross block drawn for the attack position; inner-knee panels standard; shown on the sample. |
| Armor-pocket position on the bike | Pockets added where the pattern has room. | Fixed by the brand; no change possible. | Placed where shoulder, elbow and back sit on the bike; checked at mid-line inspection. |
| Rider 14 in the same colorway two years later | Depends on who kept the file. | Depends on the brand's stock and season. | Saved color profile with physical strip; repeat in 15 days from archived files. |
| A sponsor swap for next season | Re-artwork the whole design. | Not possible on someone else's design. | Layout locked to pattern pieces; the swap is a layout edit. |
| Who stops the line | Final inspection, if any. | Not visible to you. | Mid-line inspector after the first 20 percent; failure stops that style. |
Evidence at each step, not promises at the end. None of it requires trusting a description; each item is something you can look at.
A team kit, a karting fleet and a private label motorcycle apparel test run, described by type, quantity and model, not by name

Jersey, pants and gloves for 60 riders in one colorway with individual names and numbers, ordered from a roster sheet, size-run set sent first, packed by rider. Reordered mid-season for 8 new members from the saved color profile.

Two-layer suits in a size range from youth to adult 3XL, embroidered centre logo, built for daily use and machine washing, with a standing reorder path for replacement sizes.

Textile jacket, MX jersey and gloves developed from a tech pack on shared base blocks, sampled in size M, produced at 50 pieces per style for a market test, with patterns archived for the second run.
