Made to measure takes a sheet of measurements from one rider and cuts a suit for that body. A sized run uses our block in XS–4XL for a school or a hire fleet.
Thicker hide for the impact zones and the outer panels; the thinner end for the panels that must fold. The gauge decides which hide goes where, not the label on the shipment.
Pockets are built to standard armor sizes at shoulder, elbow and knee. Send the armor you race with, or ask us to fit armor; the certificate belongs to the protector maker either way.

Standing, then in the tuck. The sheet asks for the rider measured twice: standing, and in the tuck on a bike or a bench with elbows in and knees up. The second set is the one that decides sleeve length, back length and the position of the knee pocket. Armor is worn during measuring if the rider has it, because a shoulder cup and a back protector add to the chest and back numbers.
Signed before a hide is cut. The sheet comes back to you with our production measurements written next to yours and any doubt flagged. For a sized run the same sheet is filled once per size with the block measurements, and a size-run set goes out before bulk.

Cowhide varies within a single shipment. Every hide is gauged at several points before it is laid on the cutting table; a hide outside the 1.1–1.3 mm range is not used for a suit, and a hide with a thin zone is marked so that zone lands on a panel that folds, not on a shoulder or a knee.
Written into the order. Which hides went into which suit is written into the order record, so a made-to-measure suit can be repaired or matched later with hide from the same range. On the sample, the hide record comes with the suit: a line per panel group with the gauge reading.

What we build, what we fit, and what we will not claim
The pockets at shoulder, elbow and knee are cut to standard armor sizes and placed for the tuck. CE armor is a sourced component: you can send the protectors you race with and we fit the pockets to them, or we fit armor on request.
In both cases the certificate belongs to the protector maker and travels with the armor, not with the suit.
What the hide is, what the stretch is, and what you can specify
The shell is 1.1–1.3 mm cowhide, gauged per hide and colored per panel. The stretch panels at inner arm, crotch and back are a textile stretch insert, chosen so the suit moves where the rider moves and the leather carries the rest.

Custom race suits ship one bag per suit, with the paper that proves what is inside it
Each suit ships in its own bag with the rider's name on it, the signed measurement sheet and the hide record inside. Team orders are packed by rider; school and hire runs by size.
The carton list matches the sheet line by line, and the packed-order photo set shows every bag before the box is sealed. Shipping is express, air or sea, DDP available on request.
