Race and motocross teams
A motocross team kit with every rider's name and number, the sponsor sheet on every piece, ordered from the roster and packed per rider before round one.
One roster in, one bag per rider out. Team race kit customization at Run Moto Apparel, the custom race team kit built from one roster, puts names, numbers and sponsor logos on the jersey, the pants, the gloves, the crew shirt and the hoodie from one layout, printed and stitched from one saved color profile so the whole paddock reads as one team.
Jersey · name and number
Pants · number on the thigh
Gloves · same profileFour buyers of team race kit customization, each with a roster, a sponsor sheet and a first round on the calendar.

A motocross team kit with every rider's name and number, the sponsor sheet on every piece, ordered from the roster and packed per rider before round one.

The club colors on the racers, with names and numbers, from the same profile as the club apparel members wear.

Instructor and student kits with names or roles instead of race numbers, in the school colors, reordered by size through the year.

Officials' and staff kits, or a one-design series kit with the series artwork and each rider's number.
The three fields that make a kit a team kit, and where each sits on each piece.
FIELD 01Placed from the roster line so the spelling is the roster's, not ours.
FIELD 02In the field the series rules require, in the font the team picks from the layout.
FIELD 03The sponsor sheet at the same proportion on every piece.
In team race kit customization the roster is the order; a field left blank is a piece that comes back wrong
| Field | Why it is there | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Rider name | As it should print, with capitals and accents; we print the roster's spelling. | J. Okafor |
| Number | The race number, and the series if the number rules change by series. | 27 · MX2 |
| Jersey size | From the size-run set, tried on with armor. | L |
| Pant waist and inseam | From the size-run set, tried on with knee braces and boots. | 32 / 32 |
| Glove size | One number per rider, sized down between sizes. | L |
| Pieces | The full kit, or jersey and pants only, or a second jersey. | Full + 2nd jersey |

A new rider is a new roster line and nothing else. The profile, the layout and the size sheet are already on file.
A sponsor that is large on the jersey and a smudge on the glove is a sponsor that calls the team manager. Open a tier to see where it lands.
Placed once, scaled per garment. The sponsor sheet is the list of logos, their tier and their position, and it is placed once. The title sponsor goes on the chest and the back at the size the contract asks for; the secondary sponsors on the sleeves and the pant thigh; the small logos on the collar, the cuff and the leg. When the layout moves to the gloves, the crew shirt and the hoodie, the same sheet is scaled to each garment's panels so the title sponsor is the same proportion of the chest on every piece, and the small logos are dropped where they would embroider as blobs rather than shrunk until they do.
A sponsor added mid-season is added to the sheet and printed on the next run from the saved profile; embroidered pieces get the logo in the next run of that fabric.
Chest and back at the contract size; the same proportion of the chest on the crew shirt and the hoodie.
Sleeves and the pant thigh; scaled with the sleeve on the crew shirt, dropped on the glove.
Collar, cuff and leg; dropped where they would embroider as blobs rather than shrunk until they do.
Reserved first, at the series minimum; artwork and sponsors are placed around it, never over it.

The number is the one field the series inspects; the layout follows the rules before it follows the team
Rules first, then the team. The layout places the number in the field the series requires, at the minimum size the series requires, with the contrast the series requires, before any artwork is placed around it. The team picks the font and the outline from the layout; the design room keeps the number legible against the background by adding a keyline or a plate where the artwork is busy. Names follow the number: above it on the back, in the team's font, at a size that reads from the pit wall.
Two series, two layouts. Where a team races two series with different number rules, the roster carries both and the layout is made per series, from the same profile.
A season kit is not one order; it is one order and then five small ones, and the small ones have to match
Saved at the first print. When the first kit is printed, the color profile is saved under the team name and a test strip is archived. Every reorder, one jersey for a new rider or a full second set, is printed against that strip, so the new pieces match the ones already on the riders. The layout, the roster and the size sheet are filed with the profile, so the new rider is a new roster line and nothing else.

Jersey, pants, gloves, crew shirt and hoodie: the race team apparel the fields move across with the layout.

Name, number and the full sponsor sheet.

Name on the hip, number on the thigh, sponsors on the leg.

Back-of-hand panel from the same profile, name on the cuff.

Sponsor sheet scaled, name and role on the chest.

Team logo in thread picked against the strip, name optional.
Every date in team race kit customization is counted back from the day the riders need it, not forward from the day we start
The last safe day. The sales manager takes the round-one date, counts back the bulk window, the size-run try-on and the sample, and tells you the last day the roster and the sponsor sheet can arrive for the kit to be at the truck with a week to spare. If that day has passed, the answer is a smaller first run and a second run from the saved profile, not a promise.

Team race kit customization from the roster to the bag with the rider's name on it.

Roster read line by line; sponsor sheet checked for tiers and files.

Three fields placed on the pattern pieces of every piece; number field drawn to the series minimum.

Jerseys, pant panels, glove backs and crew shirts from the saved profile.

Jerseys and pants sewn; gloves palmed; hoodies embroidered.

Names and numbers pulled against the roster at mid-line; every piece at final.

One bag per rider, every piece inside, the roster line on the bag.
Riders try the size-run set on with what they race in, not in a t-shirt in the workshop
Try it on in race gear. Before bulk, a size-run set goes to the team: one jersey and one pant per size, sometimes gloves. Riders try them on with armor under the jersey and knee braces and boots under the pant, and write their sizes next to their names on the roster. Riders between sizes go up on the jersey for armor and down on the pant waist because the ratchet closes in but never lets out. Youth riders go on youth sizes.
The set stays with the team. The signed roster becomes the size sheet, and it travels with the order through cutting, sewing and packing. A new rider mid-season is sized from the same set.

Five checks a team manager can do at the workshop bench, without us there.

Every name and number on the sample against the roster line, spelling and font.
Title sponsor the same proportion of the chest on jersey, crew shirt and hoodie; no logo unreadable at arm's length.
Read the number from across the workshop, against the busiest part of the artwork.

Jersey over armor, pant over braces and boots; the sizes written on the roster.
Jersey and pant panels against the archived strip under daylight.
One sales manager owns the kit from the first message to the 7-day post-delivery window, and the reorders after it.

The team manager hands out bags, not piles
Every piece for a rider goes into one bag with the rider's name, number and pieces printed on the label from the roster line. Crew pieces are bagged by name and role in the same box.
