Karting center suits are washed more times in a season than a race suit is washed in its life; the construction starts from the washing machine. The marker runs the fleet loop.

Embroidered on a solid shell. The rental spec is a solid-dyed two-layer shell with the centre logo embroidered on the chest and the back, because embroidery on a solid shell comes out of the fleet wash the same color it went in, week after week, and a printed or transferred logo does not. The stretch panels at the shoulder and knee are sewn with a seam that survives the wash and the guest who sits down hard in the kart. The zip is covered, the collar is soft, and the size is printed large inside the collar and on the back yoke so staff can rack a fleet in a minute.

The instructor suit reads differently

Same block, same wash. It is sublimated in the academy design on the same block, so instructors read differently from the rental fleet from across the track, and it goes through the same wash on the same cycle; it is the rental fleet that needs the solid shell, because the rental fleet is washed most and replaced least.

Built from the busiest session. The size ladder is the count of suits per size the centre needs on the rack at the busiest session: more of the middle adult sizes, fewer at each end, youth sizes for the family and school sessions, and a spare rack of the middle sizes for the suits that are in the wash. The first order is built from the centre's booking history or from ours for a new centre, and the ladder is corrected on the first restock from what actually ran short.

Archived under the centre's name. After the first order, the block, the graded pattern, the digitized logo and the thread numbers are archived under the centre's name. A restock is a size and a count, ordered one size at a time, cut from the archived pattern and embroidered from the same file, so the new mediums match the mediums already on the rack. The restock is quoted from the archive, not sampled again, and the size printed inside the collar matches the fleet's marking.

The same archive for instructors. It holds the instructor design and profile, so a new instructor is a new suit with a new name and nothing else redrawn.

Guests are not measured; the fleet is sized so that staff can hand a guest a suit that fits at a glance

Over street clothes, at a glance. A rental fleet is cut on one block, graded wide from youth to adult 3XL, with the ease to go over street clothes. Before bulk, a size-run set goes to the centre so staff can hang it on the rack, try it on themselves and on a few regulars, and confirm the ladder. The size marking inside the collar and on the back yoke is agreed on the size-run set, so the fleet racks the way staff want to read it.
