Textile is lighter, takes a removable liner and suits an all-season line. Leather is the street and café line, with perforation where the brand wants airflow.

On custom motorcycle jackets the pockets are cut where the shoulder, elbow and back sit when the rider reaches for the bars
Cut for the riding position. The three pockets on a custom motorcycle jacket are placed with the arm forward and the back rounded, the way a rider sits, not the way a jacket hangs. On the hanger the elbow pocket looks low; on the bike it is over the elbow. Each pocket is cut to standard armor sizes, so the brand's protector of choice fits without a second pattern.
Sourced, not certified by us. CE armor is a sourced component. A brand can ship its own protectors for us to fit, ask us to fit armor, or ship the jackets with pockets empty and fit at the store. The certificate belongs to the protector maker and travels with the armor; the jacket's label does not say otherwise.

Leather jackets
Leather jackets: gauged hide and perforation by panel
The two decisions that make one leather jacket line different from another, and how a buyer checks both
Gauged hide. Cowhide varies within a shipment, so every hide is gauged before cutting; a hide outside the 1.1–1.3 mm range is not used, and a thin zone is marked so it lands on a panel that folds, not on a shoulder. Which hides went into which jacket is recorded, so a brand's reorder matches the first run.
Perforation by panel. Chest, back and upper arm for airflow, never on the armor zones or where a brand mark is stitched. A brand chooses solid, perforated, or a solid-front perforated-side split, and sees it on the layout before a hide is cut.
How to check it
- Fold a sleeve panel and a shoulder panel: the sleeve folds, the shoulder resists.
- Hold the perforated panel to the light: it stops at the pocket seam.

Shared base block. The private label path starts with reading your tech pack or measuring your reference jacket, building a base block that all your SKUs share, and sampling in your core size before grading. Your woven label, care label and hangtag are set at the sample stage so the first production jacket is a finished retail piece.
The order we build most often for a brand is a three-SKU test run: a textile jacket, a motocross jersey and a pair of gloves on shared base blocks, sampled in size M, produced at 50 pieces per style.

Acceptance
Jacket acceptance: five checks you run on the sample
Five checks a brand manager or a dealer can do without us in the room. Run them on a bike, then approve the size chart.
Armor on the bike
Shoulder, elbow and back pads sit where the body is when reaching for the bars.
Liner in and out
The liner zips in and out without catching; the shell fits with it in and without it.
Sleeve on the bars
Sleeve length reaches the glove with the arm forward; the cuff closes as specified.
Fold test on leather
Sleeve panel folds, shoulder panel resists; perforation stops at the pocket seam.
Label and hangtag
Your woven label inside the collar, the care label beside it, the hangtag as in the tech pack.
